http://www.liquidhealthinc.com/node/125 Spotlight: Liquid Health Sleep Well
Drops This week’s spotlight is on Liquid Health’s Sleep Well drops. Did
you know that according to WebMD.com “Most adults need 7 to 8 hours a night
for the best amount of sleep, although some people may need as few as 5 hours
or as many as 10 hours of sleep each day.” Whether you need 5 or 10 hours
of sleep each night, your body will certainly let you know when you’re not
getting enough sleep. People with sleep problems regularly turn to liquid
melatonin for relief. Being sleep deprived can cause problems with your
memory, reaction time and your immune system, making it easier for you to get
sick. Sleep deprivation can also increase feelings of depression. It has been
said that driving while being sleep deprived can be almost as dangerous as
driving while under the influence of alcohol. Signs you may be too tired to
drive include having trouble focusing your eyes, not being able to stop
yawning and not being able to remember that last few miles you just drove.
Things like stress, anxiety, sickness and travel can affect your quality of
sleep. Melatonin, a hormone produced in the pineal gland, regulates a
person’s sleep cycle. People with lower levels of melatonin generally have
a harder time sleeping. Melatonin has shown in numerous studies to have a
positive effect on a person’s quality of sleep. Most people taking *liquid
melatonin* reported falling asleep faster and staying asleep longer. An
article on Vanderbilt University’s website references a study in which
“subjects fell asleep around 40 minutes faster than they usually did”
when they took melatonin. In addition to /liquid melatonin/, Liquid
Health’s Sleep Well drops include Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine Hcl), Inositol
and L-theanine to help promote a relaxed state, making sleep come easier.
L-theanine has long been thought to help reduce feelings stress and anxiety
in those who take it. Since stress and anxiety can majorly affect one’s
ability to sleep, L-theanine can play an important role in helping to improve
someone’s sleep quality. Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine Hcl) has proven effective
against nighttime leg cramps which can hinder one’s ability to get a
restful night’s sleep. Additionally, inositol was studied in 1995 for its
effect on depression. The results were “significantly greater for inositol
than for placebo at week 4.” Liquid Health has combined these ingredients
with liquid melatonin [1] to help you have the greatest chance of improving
your sleep quality. If you think your sleep problems are more serious you
should definitely consult your doctor to see if there is a larger underlying
health issue.
